Daily Activity Emails FAQ

The Daily Activity Email is an admin-only, self-subscribed summary of yesterday's created transactions, status changes, and unassigned docs. Answers to the common questions about who can receive it, what counts as activity, and why one won't arrive.

Who can receive the Daily Activity Email?

Admin-level users only. Master admins, and location admins with the View All Transactions permission. Agents can't receive it.

Can I turn it on for another admin?

No — it's a personal setting. Each admin switches it on from their own Personal Profile. There's no way to subscribe someone else, and no list showing who is currently subscribed.

Why isn't a transaction I updated yesterday in today's email?

Only creations and status changes make the email. Editing a field on an existing transaction — a Close Date, say — doesn't put it there. It shows up once the transaction actually moves to a different status.

Can Pipeline email me the moment an agent creates a transaction?

Not today. There's no real-time alert for a transaction being created or a status changing. The next morning's Daily Activity Email is the channel for both, and it's a request we hear often.

Why does the email look like it came from a particular person?

That's the sender contact for the account or the Location. System emails show the account's Admin & Support Contact by default; if a Location has a Primary Location Contact set, that person is the sender for users in that Location, and replies go to them.

An agent who left still gets these, and they keep bouncing. How do I stop it?

Deactivate their profile. Because the setting is personal, you can't switch it off on their behalf. Deactivating stops every system email to them — and the bounce notices with it — while their transactions and history stay in the account. See Why Aren't Pipeline's System Emails Reaching an Agent? if the notices continue.

Can someone who isn't an admin get a copy?

Not directly. An admin can forward theirs, or set a forwarding rule in their own mail program so it lands with the right person each morning.
