New Offers FAQ

New Offer copies your side's details into a fresh, linked transaction. Answers to the common questions about how it differs from duplicating, the monthly quota, and why the button may not appear.

What's the difference between a New Offer and duplicating a transaction?

New Offer is the tool for re-listing or adding another offer; duplicating is a plain copy. A New Offer brings over only your side's relevant details, links back to the original, and doesn't count toward your quota for the first five. A duplicate is a full, standalone copy you build a new transaction from. See Transaction Duplication.

Do New Offers count toward my monthly quota?

The first five from a single transaction don't. That lets you handle fall-throughs, backups, and multiple offers on one deal without eating into your usage.

Why isn't the New Offer button available on my transaction?

It's tied to the "Create transactions" permission. If you or your agents don't see [New Offer], an admin can confirm the permission is granted from Manage Users. If it's still missing after that, email us and we'll take a look.

What gets copied into a New Offer?

Only what's relevant to your side. Listing agents get listing agents plus seller info and docs; buying agents get buying agents plus buyer info and docs. You can also choose to copy over checklist tasks and notes. Details for the other party are left out.

How do I get back to the original transaction?

Use the related links in the Seller & Buyer section. A New Offer links back to the original, and the original links to each related New Offer, so you can switch between them in a click.
