Pipeline AI Monthly Limit

Set a monthly cap on Pipeline AI — the most you could spend in a billing month. You're billed only for the documents your team actually runs, at $1 each, and never a dollar past your cap.

Introduction

Pipeline AI reads your contracts and fills in the transaction fields for you, from listing to closed. It's billed by the document: every document is $1, whether it creates a new transaction (AI Create) or updates an existing one (AI Update). The charge sits on top of your subscription and rolls into your regular monthly Pipeline bill.

Your monthly cap is the most that can be charged in a billing month. Set a $250 cap and you haven't spent $250; you've just capped it there. That cap covers up to 250 documents a billing cycle, and you're charged only for what your team actually runs. You can raise the cap anytime.

How It Works

Everything lives on the Pipeline AI page, under Admin / Settings → Add-On Modules. You set the cap, turn the feature on, and your team runs the AI as normal — Pipeline bills each document against the cap as they go.

You're Billed Only for What You Use

The cap is a ceiling on your spending. Run 40 documents under a $250 cap and you're billed $40, not $250. You pay only for the documents you run, and each billing cycle starts fresh.

One Cap for the Whole Account

The cap is account-wide. Every document anyone in your company runs counts against the same number.

$1 per Document, Create or Update

Every document is $1, whether the AI creates a new transaction or updates an existing one — same price either way.

When You Reach the Cap

Once your team has spent the cap, AI Create and AI Update pause for everyone until the next billing cycle — or until you raise the cap. Only the AI shortcuts pause; you can still create and update transactions by hand, at no charge.

Raise or Lower the Cap Anytime

Drag the slider and the change takes effect immediately. Raise the cap and paused AI resumes at once; lower it and the rest of the month holds to the new number.

Stop by Setting the Cap to $0

The cap is also your off switch. Set it to $0 and every AI run pauses for the whole team until a master admin raises it again.

Who Can Do This

Master admins only. The Pipeline AI page and its cap are hidden from every other role. Anyone with permission to upload docs and create transactions can run the AI, but only a master admin turns it on and sets the cap.

Turn on Pipeline AI

Turns on AI Create and AI Update for everyone, with your spending capped from the start.

Who Can Do This: Master admins only.

  1. Click the [Gear] in the upper-right corner, then [Admin / Settings].
  2. Under Add-On Modules, click [AI Features] to open the Pipeline AI page.
  3. Drag the Set your monthly cap slider to set your $ / month max.
  4. Click [Enable Pipeline AI].

Pipeline AI is on and your cap is set. Anyone who can upload docs and create transactions can now run AI Create or AI Update, and you're billed $1 per document as they go.

Set or Change Your Monthly Cap

Adjusts the most your account can spend on Pipeline AI in a billing month.

Who Can Do This: Master admins only.

  1. Click the [Gear] in the upper-right corner, then [Admin / Settings].
  2. Under Add-On Modules, click [AI Features].
  3. Drag the monthly cap slider to set your $ / month max.

The new cap takes effect immediately. The page shows how many documents it covers and what you've used so far, so you can set it above your current spend and keep your team running. Set the cap to $0 to pause Pipeline AI for the whole team.
