Introduction
Deciding whether a signing tool suits an office is hard to do from a description. What matters is how it feels on a real document with real people on the other end, and that only shows up once you've sent one.
Trial credits exist for exactly that. Two signature requests are available before any plan is activated, and they're real requests: real documents, real signers, a signed file coming back at the end of it. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed. eSign also isn't switched on when an account starts, so nothing about this is running quietly in the background. It sits there until somebody deliberately picks it up.
Send them on documents you actually need signed and you learn how the round trip lands with your own clients, which is the part that's genuinely hard to predict from a description. If the answer turns out to be no, nothing has been bought and there's nothing to unwind.

What You Get to Try
Two signature requests at no cost, before any plan is activated. They're real requests — real documents, real signers, a signed file coming back — and they work from the places eSign normally works: a transaction, your Reference Library, or the eSign menu at the top of the page. Two is the whole trial; there's no longer version to ask for.
Who Can See eSign While You're Trying It
eSign is a deliberate opt-in, so nothing about it appears in an account until a master admin picks it up. During the trial, eSign menu items show for master admins only; everyone else sees eSign for the first time when a paid plan is activated. A company, or an enterprise on behalf of its accounts, can also ask us to suppress eSign entirely.
What Happens After the Second Request
To keep sending, a master admin activates a plan and sets a monthly limit. eSign becomes available to everyone in the account straight away, and billing starts on your next bill date.
