What's New Alert

Pipeline tells you when something has shipped. A What's New tile appears on your Home page and takes you straight to what changed.

Introduction

You log in, something looks different, and you'd like to know what it was. Or you've had a head-down month and want to catch up on everything you missed.

What's New is where releases land. The tile on your Home page shows up whenever there's something new and opens the latest release notes, and the What's New archive keeps every release before it. Between the two, catching up is a click from where you already start your day.

Bigger news arrives a second way: a banner across the top of the page when you log in. Read it, clear it, and it stays cleared.

How It Works

Two places to look, and one of them comes to you.

The Tile on Your Home Page

Whenever there's something new, a What's New tile appears on your Home page carrying the latest release, and clicking it opens the release notes. The tile always shows up when there's something to see, so your Home page is the reliable place to catch a release.

Every Release, Newest First

The What's New archive lists the most recent release and every one before it. Open any of them to read what changed and when. It's where to go when you're catching up on more than the last few weeks, or looking for when a feature you rely on arrived.

Announcements That Come to You

An announcement can also arrive as a banner across the top of the page when you log in. Who it goes to depends on the announcement — the Pipeline AI banner appeared for master admins only. Clearing one is permanent, so read it before you close it.

Clear an Announcement Banner

Take a banner off the top of your page once you've read it.

Who Can Do This: Anyone who sees the banner.

To clear an announcement banner:

  1. Read the banner, and follow its link if you want the full announcement.
  2. Click the X in the banner's upper-right corner.

The banner clears for good. It doesn't return the next time you log in.

Read What's Changed

When you want more than the newest release, the whole record is one page.

Every Paperless Pipeline release sits on the What's New page, newest first, so you can read forward from wherever you left off.

See What Else Your Home Page Is Telling You

The What's New tile sits alongside the counts you land on every morning.

Your Home page opens on a row of live counts: closings this week, tasks due today, docs waiting on you — so you can see what needs attention before you click into anything.
