Pipeline tells you the moment an AI result is ready, in the app or by email. Answers to the common questions about how you're told, and what changes if you turn the email off.
How does Pipeline tell me a result is ready?
Two ways, depending on where you are. Still in Pipeline, you get an in-app notification. Stepped away, Pipeline emails you. Either way the document shows a green folder with a checkmark, so you can find the result whether or not you saw a notice.
Does Pipeline notify me for both AI Create and AI Update?
Yes, and identically. AI Create tells you when the filled review form is ready; AI Update tells you when the summary of changes is ready.
How long does an AI run take?
Usually about a minute. The read happens in the background, so you're free to keep working — the notice is what brings you back.
Can I turn off the email?
Yes — it's a personal setting. Open [Gear] → [My Info], scroll to Your Email Settings, and uncheck the AI-ready notification setting. It affects only your own emails.
If I turn the email off, will I still know when my result is ready?
Yes. The in-app notification still appears while you're working in Pipeline, and the document still shows a green folder with a checkmark — so you'll always be able to see which documents Pipeline has finished reading.
Can an admin turn the email on or off for me?
No. Each person controls their own at [Gear] → [My Info] → Your Email Settings. An admin can't change it for another user.
Who gets the notice when someone else starts the run?
The person who started it. The notice follows the run, so if a colleague kicked it off, it reaches them rather than you — but the green folder on the document is visible to anyone who can see that document.
