Do I have to download the signed document and upload it again?
No — it comes back on its own. Once every signer is done, the executed document returns to Pipeline automatically. Nothing to download, nothing to re-upload.
Where does the signed document end up?
It depends where the request started. Sent from a transaction, it lands in Unassigned already pre-assigned to that transaction. Sent from Reference or the eSign page, it stays with your sent requests until you copy it to Unassigned yourself.
I sent five documents in one request. Why did one document come back?
A packet returns the way it was sent. Everything in one signature request is merged into one signed file, in the order you selected it. To file them separately, break the packet apart from Unassigned or from the transaction once it's there.
What's the extra page at the end of my signed document?
Your Certification of Authenticity and event log. Pipeline appends both to the end of the signed document automatically. The event log records the signing events, which is what an audit or compliance review will want to see.
Do my signers get their own copy?
Yes. A final copy is emailed to you and to every recipient on the request as soon as signing completes.
Can I keep in-progress signing out of the transaction?
Yes — send from Reference or the eSign page instead. Requests started that way are tracked entirely outside the transaction workflow, and nothing reaches the transaction until you choose to copy the signed document over.
Why can't I preview or split my signed document?
It's probably too long. A very long signed file runs past Pipeline's preview and break-apart tools. You can still download it from the gear icon — split it outside Pipeline, or keep each signature request shorter so the tools can work on what comes back.
