You hit Ctrl + Alt + T and the Add Transaction form doesn't open. The shortcut itself is fine. Something else has the keyboard's attention.
Reason
A few things tend to swallow Pipeline's shortcuts: another tab or window has focus instead of Pipeline; you're inside a form field (a comment, a relative-date input, an email body) and the keys are going to that field; a browser extension is intercepting the combination; or, on Mac, you're using Cmd instead of Option (Opt).
Solution
Walk through these in order:
- Click on Pipeline's page first. If you switched to another tab, the shortcut goes to that tab. Bring Pipeline forward and try again.
- Check whether a field has focus. A typing cursor in a comment box, an email body, or a date field means your keystrokes go there. Click outside the field (on a blank part of the page) and retry.
- On Mac, confirm you're holding Option (Opt), not Cmd. Pipeline's shortcuts are Ctrl + Opt + [key].
- Disable browser extensions one at a time. Vimium, keyboard navigation extensions, and certain password managers intercept Ctrl + Alt combinations. Disable them in Pipeline's tab and retry.
- Try a different browser. If Pipeline shortcuts work in Chrome but not in your usual browser, an extension or browser-level shortcut is the cause.
For doc-preview shortcuts (page navigation, mark-as-reviewed), click on the preview itself first so it has focus, then press the key.
