Introduction
One day the AI options aren't there. Nobody removed them and nothing is broken. The month's AI spend has reached the limit your account set, and Pipeline has done the thing the limit exists to do.
The pause is the enforcement half of the monthly limit. A ceiling that could be crossed wouldn't be a ceiling, so when spend meets the number, Pipeline stops offering the two AI actions rather than carrying on and billing past it. It applies to the whole company, because the limit does. It isn't aimed at whoever happened to make the run that met the ceiling, and it isn't a mark against anybody.
Everything else carries on. Transactions, documents, checklists, and messaging are untouched, and your team keeps creating and updating transactions by hand at no cost, the way the work got done before any of this existed. Anything already created or updated stays exactly as it was saved. And the pause lifts on its own when your cycle rolls over, with nothing to switch back on.

How It Clears
Your billing cycle resets the month's spend, or a master admin raises the limit. Either way AI Create and AI Update come back immediately — there's nothing to switch on again.

Setting the limit to $0 pauses Pipeline AI for the team without turning anything off or losing any settings. It's the same slider, at the bottom of its range.
Your Saved Work Stays Put
A pause stops the next run from starting. Transactions your team already created or updated stay in place and behave like any other transaction.
Work Out When the Pause Lifts
Waiting is a real option here, and it's the one that costs nothing — but only if you know the date. It isn't the first of the month. Your cycle turns over on the day your account started.
