The questions support hears most about Pipeline's keyboard shortcuts — paging through previews, the Mac modifier, and what to do when a combination doesn't fire.
What's the keyboard shortcut to move through pages in a document preview?
The arrow keys. Press → for the next page, ← for the previous page. To jump to a specific page, click on the preview to give it focus and type the page number. Shift + ← goes to the first page; Shift + → goes to the last.
How do I switch between docs without closing the preview?
Use Shift + ↑ to go to the previous doc and Shift + ↓ to go to the next doc. The preview stays open and loads the new file in place.
What's the Mac equivalent of Ctrl + Alt for Pipeline's shortcuts?
Ctrl + Option (Opt). The action key after the modifier is the same on both platforms — only the modifier changes. Cmd doesn't work; Pipeline's shortcuts are bound to Ctrl + Opt on Mac.
Why isn't my keyboard shortcut doing anything?
The most common cause is something else has the keyboard's attention — another browser tab is focused, a form field is active (your keystrokes go into the field instead), or a browser extension is intercepting Ctrl + Alt combinations. Click on Pipeline's page first, then try again. If shortcuts still don't fire, see A keyboard shortcut isn't doing anything when I press it.
Can I mark a doc as reviewed from the keyboard?
Yes, if you're an admin. Press Alt + R on Windows or Opt + R on Mac while a doc preview is open. The doc is marked reviewed without you reaching for the mouse. Agents don't have access to this shortcut.
Is there a shortcut to close the document preview?
Esc. One key, anywhere in the preview, and the preview closes.
Do the doc preview shortcuts work in the pop-out window?
Yes. The same arrow-key navigation (page through, jump pages, switch docs, mark reviewed, close with Esc) works in both the inline preview and the pop-out version. Click into the preview window first so it has focus.
Where can I see every shortcut in one place?
The Keyboard Shortcuts article has a full reference table — Windows column, Mac column, and a line for every command Pipeline supports. There's also a Pipeline Pro webinar recording in the help center that walks through each one.
