System Requirements

Pipeline runs in your web browser — it works best on the latest version of any major browser.

Introduction

Pipeline is a web app, so there's nothing to install and no software to manage. If you can open a browser, you can open Pipeline, whether that's a work desktop, a laptop at home, or a phone on the road.

What that shifts is where the requirements actually sit. Instead of a minimum machine, what matters is the browser, and specifically how current it is. Pipeline leans on things modern browsers can do and older ones can't, and browsers move quickly enough that one left alone for a couple of years genuinely falls behind. Any of the major browsers works. Keeping whichever you use up to date is the whole of it.

Most of the time this looks after itself, since browsers update quietly in the background. It's worth knowing about for the day something looks broken. A page that loads blank, buttons that do nothing, a transactions list that comes up empty while the same account works fine on your phone: that pattern is almost always the browser rather than your account, and it isn't something you did. Updating it, or opening Pipeline in a different one, is the first thing to try.

Supported Browsers

Pipeline works in the latest version of:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Safari

Not sure yours is current? You can grab the latest version of any major browser at browsehappy.com.

Keeping Your Browser Updated

Most browsers update themselves automatically, so you're usually already set. Safari and Edge update along with your computer's operating system, so keeping your OS current keeps those up to date too.
